Machine Gun Girl

Mar 22, 2010 | Portraits & People

This photo was a personal project I did a while back. I’ve always wanted to do a project resembling a movie poster. I figured this photo was a great opportunity to do so. A lot more work went into this photo than I had anticipated. I applied a stylized look to this image and added some cool smoke effects and blood splatter textures. Also I used a gradient map to add color to the scene. [intlink id=”544″ type=”post”]Portraiture[/intlink] was applied to smooth out the skin tone. There was a lot more that went into this photo so take a look at the original and you’ll see how much work was done. A off camera flash was used from the left. Photo was taken at an abandoned underground parking lot in Jupiter, Florida.
